For the third month since the coronavirus shutdown, the Downtown Dayton Partnership's First Friday celebrations have turned to a virtual format. However with some establishments reopening, you can experience some aspects of downtown in person, too.

The first Friday of each month is celebrated by the entire downtown Dayton community, with art hops, a variety of entertainment and restaurant specials. This Friday June 5, participants can explore downtown Dayton from their own homes, or choose to visit the downtown community from 5 p.m. to midnight.

Here are some ways you can interact with the downtown community online or in person. From dining and shopping, to watching your favorite local bands or artists perform online, there’s lots to do whether you want to stay in or go out.

We're only able to capture a fraction of everything happening downtown. For the full list of experiences to choose from, visit the Downtown Dayton Partnership's event page here
Food & Beverages
There are more than 60 downtown restaurants and breweries that are open for delivery and carry-out, and in some cases are now welcoming guests on patios or inside. Find the complete list here.

June's First Friday is marking a celebration for many businesses, including the 5th anniversary in business for Twist Cupcakery, and the re-opening for several downtown locations that were temporarily closed due to state orders during the mandated coronavirus shutdown.
